Quality, Security & Compliance Team Member

Project Overview
To work on governance, risk and compliance projects and activities. This will cover security measures and controls, quality documentation and processes, and matters relating to health and safety, environment, corporate social responsibility and possibly data privacy.

Goal: Multiple (supported) projects to improve our compliance maturity and to ensure that we retain our existing licences to operate. These will include 1) Improving our company intranet and creating a document process library and Sharepoint look ups for different catalogues/lists to allow easy interrogation of connected data points. 2) Automating and enhancing our compliance reporting capabilities. 3) Supporting audits and market group and service line requests. 4) Analysing the regulatory and compliance environment that we operate in to ensure all legal and certification requirements and updates are captured/managed. 5) Enhancing some of our policies and developing plans for maturity.

Location: Preferably Amsterdam, or Eindhoven

Student Attributes

Education:

• Following preferably a master degree in Cybersecurity or Information Security Technology or possibly Data Architecture or Computer science. A bachelor degree could also be acceptable.

Technical skills:

Good understanding of basic cybersecurity principles;
• Knowledge of governance, risk and compliance, and auditing;
• Data and document repository management;
• Strong analytical and comparative skills to map standards to regulatory requirements;
• Technical writing skills to improve policy documents;
• Advanced SharePoint and Excel skills.

Project Overview:
The work is varied and interesting. We are looking for someone who likes a challenge and to collaborate with people but wants to improve/automate our ways of working and can apply a solid eye for detail. Support will be given but the individual can operate independently too managing multiple tasks/activities.

Key Objectives:

• Implement a Sharepoint document management "library" in a structured way allowing employees to find up to date information quickly;
• Develop navigation lookups through various Sharepoint catalogues (lists);
• Support internal audits and requests for bid support;
• Improve compliance reporting;
• Help enhance key policy documents;
• Manage security control/measure improvements based on identified risks.
